Yes. Grix connects to your accounts only through the platforms’ official APIs (Meta, Instagram) with OAuth authorization, never by logging in with your password or scraping. It is the same route Meta provides for automation tools. Grix never sends bulk messages. It only writes to people who contacted you first, in a comment, a DM or an email.

You get three safeguards and you set all three yourself. First, any module can stay in draft mode: Grix writes the reply, you send it. Second, a match threshold decides how confident Grix has to be before it answers at all. Below that threshold the thread goes to you instead of to guesswork. Third, every sent reply shows up in your dashboard next to the message that triggered it.

That is your call and it has its own setting. Grix ships an AI disclosure module: you switch the notice on and you write what it says. Article 50 of the EU AI Act applies from August 2026 and requires disclosure in some of these situations, so Grix gives you the tool to comply without improvising.

Yes. Grix is GDPR compliant and hosted in the EU (servers in Frankfurt, primary AI from Mistral, processed in the EU; if Mistral is down, Anthropic in the USA answers as a fallback under SCCs). Each client’s data is isolated with Row Level Security enforced at the database level, not just by a filter in the app. Your conversations never train a model. Every notification from Meta carries a cryptographic signature. Grix checks it and rejects anything Meta did not sign.

For what n8n cannot give you out of the box. A verified Meta app with Tech Provider status, without which automated Instagram replies will not pass Meta review. An answer bank that replies only with what you approved, instead of guessing. Signature checks on every webhook and prompt injection defense. And maintenance: when Meta or Gmail change their API, I fix it, not you on a Sunday night.

Complex or unusual threads get handed straight to you. Grix takes the repetitive work off your plate, it does not make decisions you’d rather keep an eye on yourself.
